Firearms Instructor
Andy Anderson is a Professor of Emergency Medicine at the Level I Trauma Center in Jackson, Mississippi, where he has practiced clinical emergency medicine for the past 21 years. Before starting medical school, Andy worked in the pre-hospital setting for 9 years as a paramedic, giving him over 30 years of experience in treating gunshot wounds.
In addition to his medical career, Andy serves part-time as a Deputy assigned to the SWAT Team in the Sheriff Department of Lauderdale County, Mississippi. Over the last eleven years, he has worked as a SWAT medic, providing medical support during high-risk warrant executions for numerous law enforcement agencies.
Andy is an active member of both the National Tactical Officer’s Association and the Mississippi Tactical Officer’s Association. He holds multiple instructor certifications, including:
Tactical Anatomy Shooting with X-Ray Vision Instructor
Rangemaster Defensive Shotgun Instructor
Basic, Advanced, Master, and Professional Pistolcraft Firearms Instructor
Furthermore, Andy is a certified instructor through the NRA, USCCA, and the Massad Ayoob Group. He also serves as one of the firearms instructors at Boondocks FTA in Raymond, Mississippi.
