00:02 - Year-End Review and Future Plans

10:41 - Podcast Disclaimers and Liability Awareness

Speaker 1:

Hi, welcome to the Arm Guardian Podcast, season one, episode 10. Today, david and I will be giving an overview of this past season, what we've done, where we're at and where we're going with the future podcast of the Arm Guardian Podcast. So sit back and listen and enjoy and, as we prepare to go into the holiday season, today David and I will be kind of giving a year-end review for our podcast. This will be the last episode for 2023. We'd like to thank everybody for helping out, participating and listening to our podcast, for those that have shared and encouraged others to listen. Thank you. But we just want to jump on, wish everybody a Merry Christmas, happy New Year and I kind of give you an overview of what's going on. So just kind of give you a brief overview. We're going to start dropping our podcast episodes. We're still going to keep the current, every other week, of putting one out and going to release them on Mondays now Monday mornings. So every other Monday morning we should have a podcast drop, unless there's an event that prevents us from doing so. But just a small programming change for our podcast. We've got a few great people that are confirmed that are still going to be participating. We've got Cass McGuire. Some of you may know have heard from her on social media as Snoop Dogg Star Snoop Dogg, and she's a domestic violence, survivor and self-defense firearms instructor, so we're going to have her on. We've got a Crystal Mellon from South Florida, a USCCA women's firearms instructor and safety advocate. She'll be coming on talking about women's firearms and human trafficking. She's an advocate for that as well. Prevention that is, and we've got see Trampas. Swanson is going to come in. We'll have several different episodes with him, but he's got a magazine that he produces online that I really enjoy A lot of good information on it. We'll have him on to discuss the magazine. Amy Lucas, who's a USCCA instructor in Michigan. He's going to come in talk about training, how to find a good instructor, how to vet out your instructors and just kind of give a good overall talk about the necessity for training and furthering your education and firearms All others that we've got coming on. Some legal people. We've got some competition shooters that we're going to be having come on, as well as David and our topics with different things that we'll be doing. We'll be getting back into our everyday carry or EDC loadout things where we'll talk about prizes and stuff like that. First aid, survival preparedness, which we do have someone that's going to be coming Coming in talking to us about prepping, just general prepping, know for natural disasters and everything, and also for less lethal self-defense options of mr Matt Mallory Out of New York. He's a great guy, so he'll be coming in. So those are just some of the episodes that will be Putting out here soon. This coming year, in 2024, we encourage you to Share with us our growth and everything. I thank everybody in the four months that we've had the podcast going it's. It's actually went larger than what I expected, so I appreciate everybody that's been doing that. I'll let you speak on anything that you want, david. You got something that you want to Talk on, or upcoming training or classes that you're looking to kind of put together and everything.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, to Think back off what you said. Thank you everybody for listening and us over the last several months. Merry Christmas and a happy new year. Hope everything's going well with everybody. We've got some great training coming up, working on some new courses We'll bring. We'll kind of fill everybody in on that as we move forward over the next several months. I'm just enjoying it, having a good time podcasting and training and learning and Looking forward to the new year.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, I'm glad that you came on board with me, david, with wanting to do this. I could have done it solo but it helps, helps out, especially when we do our Episodes ourselves, talking about our topics or things that we want to do, and I appreciate you for jumping on board and the support of your family and friends that have kind of helped out with promoting. See, there's something else I was going to say. Oh, we still have blackout coffee as one of our show Provider sponsors that will be promoting this year, continuing this year. We've got a new Sponsor that we're going to be bringing on board for self-defense insurance that will be Helping to sponsor our podcast right to bear. It's a great self-defense protection, inexpensive, a lot of good coverage. If you have some wants, some information on it, you can get in touch with us. It's a great Check your policies that if you have a self-defense insurance with our protection with somebody else, check those policies and restrictions because you may not be as covered as you think, especially if you're into security, first responder, law enforcement. They've got a they cover, cover those people in those both in their On-duty capacity or their potential to be called on duty when other companies may not cover first responders, security guard, military and stuff like that. But yeah, just Listen to us, we'll be popping out the in the first episode of 2024. The Information on right to bear will have them on our website as well, both of the podcast website and the business website. So we will definitely like to have some information and some people participate with with that. Do you guys have any information that you want us to cover? We kind of have our plan, but we are also open to both training on our business side for the blueberry tactical as well as podcast topics and any guests. So if you have any guests, you can reach out to us. You've got an email directly that comes to us that the podcast at blueberrytacticalcom that comes to our general email and just leave your comments, suggestions, likes, dislikes. If there's something that you would like to see us change, we're open to change. We're not setting our ways, not yet and we would like to ask you for any topics or any training that you would like to see in the future. We still are growing, still providing training in our three locations. Our podcast is actually I would say that it's international because we've got, I think, five people that are outside the North America, continent that have listened and listened not every episode, but most episodes. So hey, I guess we can say we're international now.

Speaker 2:

That's pretty cool.

Speaker 1:

That is I think. At the last I saw, we were at 150 downloads, which is awesome. I appreciate each and every one of them, but as long as somebody gets some training or some information from our topics and guests that we have, that's the goal of what the podcast was set up to be what to be some major numbers. I wanted us to be able to go out and to give people information, to let them think about their safety and their family safety, and how they can grow as a concealed carrier and home defender. So, with that being said, do you have anything else, david, that you want to mention or cover?

Speaker 2:

I think we've covered a pretty good bit. Once again, I'd like to wish everybody a Merry Christmas, happy New Year and thank you. Thank you, everybody, for listening in and just making it a good several months of podcasting.

Speaker 1:

All right. Well, on that note, we will close this podcast. And again, thank you everybody for listening and participating and sharing. And again from the Arm Guardian podcast in Blueberry Tactical, we would like to thank and wish every one of you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Thank you, everybody.
