Ready for a clear roadmap of where Armed Guardian is heading next? We close the season by sharing what we learned, what resonated, and how we’re leveling up the show with a tighter cadence, sharper topics, and guests who’ve lived the stakes. It’s a grounded plan for anyone serious about personal safety, smarter training, and responsible carry.

We’re moving to a consistent release schedule—new episodes every other Monday morning—so you can build a routine around learning and practice. Then we dive into what’s ahead: conversations with a domestic violence survivor and self-defense instructor on risk assessment and recovery, a women’s firearms instructor on building confident fundamentals and addressing human trafficking awareness, and competition shooters translating pressure-tested skills into practical drills. We’ll also bring on a magazine publisher to help you cut through the noise and focus on gear and methods that actually work.

Training sits at the center of our approach. We outline how to evaluate instructors, read safety culture, set measurable goals, and avoid classes that overpromise and underdeliver. Expect more EDC breakdowns with first aid integration, realistic preparedness for disasters, and less-lethal tools that fit the situations most people face. And because protection isn’t just hardware and reps, we unpack self-defense insurance: coverage differences, common exclusions, and special considerations for security professionals and first responders.

We’re grateful for the community that formed around the show, from early shares to thoughtful feedback that shaped our direction. Want to help steer what’s next? Email your questions, topics, or guest ideas to podcast@blueberrytactical.com. If this roadmap resonates, follow the show, share it with a friend who trains, and leave a quick review so more people find practical, responsible guidance on their path to being prepared.

00:00:02.240 --> 00:00:04.559
Hi, welcome to the Armed Guardian Podcast.

00:00:04.639 --> 00:00:06.240
Season 1, episode 10.

00:00:06.639 --> 00:00:17.920
Today, David and I will be giving an overview of the past season, what we've done, where we're at, and where we're going with the future podcast of the Armed Guardian Past Podcast.

00:00:18.079 --> 00:00:24.879
So sit back and listen, enjoy, and as we prepare to go into the holiday season.

00:00:31.199 --> 00:00:36.960
Today, uh David and I will be kind of giving a year-in review for our podcast.

00:00:37.039 --> 00:00:40.000
This will be the last episode for 2023.

00:00:40.399 --> 00:00:49.359
We like to thank everybody for helping out, participating, and listening to our podcast, and for those that have shared and encouraged others to listen.

00:00:49.520 --> 00:00:50.159
Thank you.

00:00:50.399 --> 00:01:01.359
But um we just want to jump on, wish everybody a Merry Christmas, uh, happy new year, and uh kind of give you an overview of what's uh going on.

00:01:01.600 --> 00:01:04.480
So uh just kind of give you a brief overview.

00:01:04.640 --> 00:01:07.680
We're gonna start dropping our podcast episodes.

00:01:07.840 --> 00:01:17.519
We're still gonna keep the current every other week uh putting one out and gonna release them on Mondays now, Monday mornings.

00:01:17.680 --> 00:01:25.840
So uh every other Monday morning, we should have a podcast drop unless uh there's a event that prevents us from doing so.

00:01:26.000 --> 00:01:31.040
But um just a small programming change for our podcast.

00:01:31.280 --> 00:01:37.519
Um got a few uh great uh people that are confirmed that are still gonna be participating.

00:01:37.680 --> 00:01:40.079
We've got um Cass McGuire.

00:01:40.319 --> 00:01:54.159
Some of you may know have seen heard from her on social media as Snoop Dog Um, Star Snoop Dogg, and uh she's a domestic violence survivor and self-defense firearms instructor.

00:01:54.319 --> 00:01:56.319
So uh we're gonna have her on.

00:01:56.560 --> 00:02:04.560
We've got uh Crispal Milan from South Florida, a USCCA women's uh firearms uh instructor and safety advocate.

00:02:04.719 --> 00:02:09.199
She'll be coming on talking about women's firearms and human trafficking.

00:02:09.360 --> 00:02:12.159
Uh she's an advocate for that as well.

00:02:12.400 --> 00:02:14.479
Uh prevention, that is.

00:02:14.719 --> 00:02:20.080
And uh we've got uh let's see, Trampus Swanson is gonna come in.

00:02:20.159 --> 00:02:30.000
Uh we'll have several different episodes with him, but uh he's got a magazine that he produces online that uh I really enjoy, a lot of good information on it.

00:02:30.159 --> 00:02:33.039
We'll have him on to discuss the magazine.

00:02:33.280 --> 00:02:59.199
Uh Amy Lucas, uh, who's a USCCA instructor in Michigan, she's gonna come in, talk about training, uh how to find a good instructor, how to bet out your instructors, and just kind of give a good overall um talk about the necess the necessity for training and uh furthering your your education and firearms.

00:02:59.439 --> 00:03:13.840
Uh several others that we've got coming on, some legal people, uh we've got uh some competition shooters that we're gonna be having come on, as well as David and our topics with uh different things that uh we'll be doing.

00:03:13.919 --> 00:03:47.599
We'll be getting back into our uh everyday day carry or EDC low out loadout um things where we'll talk about um first aid uh survival preparedness, uh which we do have someone that's gonna be coming coming in talking to us about uh prepping, uh just general prepping, you know, for natural disasters and everything, and uh also for less lethal self-defense uh options.

00:03:47.680 --> 00:03:48.319
Uh Mr.

00:03:48.479 --> 00:03:51.919
Matt Mallory uh out of New York.

00:03:52.000 --> 00:03:54.719
Uh he's a great guy, so he'll be coming in.

00:03:54.879 --> 00:04:02.639
So those are just some of the episodes that we'll be uh putting out here soon this coming year in 2024.

00:04:02.800 --> 00:04:08.240
Uh we encourage you to share with us uh our uh growth and everything.

00:04:08.400 --> 00:04:12.240
I thank everybody in the four months that we've had the podcast going.

00:04:12.479 --> 00:04:17.439
It's uh it's actually gone larger than what I expected.

00:04:17.600 --> 00:04:20.480
So uh I appreciate everybody that's been doing that.

00:04:20.639 --> 00:04:24.160
Um I'll let you speak on anything that you want, David.

00:04:24.319 --> 00:04:33.680
You got something that uh you want to talk on or no upcoming training or classes that you're looking to kind of put together and and everything?

00:04:34.079 --> 00:04:41.439
Yeah, to uh piggyback off what you said, thank you everybody for listening and us over the last several months.

00:04:41.680 --> 00:04:44.480
Um Merry Christmas and a happy new year.

00:04:44.720 --> 00:04:47.120
Hope everything's going well with everybody.

00:04:48.399 --> 00:04:50.879
Um, we've got some great training coming up.

00:04:51.040 --> 00:04:55.120
Um working on some new courses.

00:04:55.839 --> 00:05:03.360
We'll bring we'll kind of fill everybody in on that as as we move forward over the next several months.

00:05:03.759 --> 00:05:13.600
Um I'm just enjoying it, having a good time podcasting and training and learning and looking forward to the new year.

00:05:14.319 --> 00:05:18.959
Yeah, I'm I'm glad that you you came on board with me, David, with uh wanting to do this.

00:05:19.120 --> 00:05:28.560
Uh I I could have done it solo, but uh it help helps out, especially when we do our our episodes ourselves talking about our topics or things that we want to do.

00:05:28.639 --> 00:05:38.399
And I appreciate you for jumping on board and the support of um your family and and friends that uh have kind of helped out with uh promoting.

00:05:38.639 --> 00:05:43.759
Um see there was something else I was gonna say.

00:05:43.920 --> 00:05:55.759
Oh, uh we still have Blackout Coffee as uh one of our show provider sponsors uh that we'll be promoting this year, uh continuing this year.

00:05:56.000 --> 00:06:10.319
We've uh got a new sponsor that we're gonna be bringing on board for self-defense insurance um that will be helping to sponsor our podcast, uh Right to Bear.

00:06:11.040 --> 00:06:17.360
It's uh great self-defense protection, inexpensive, a lot of good coverage.

00:06:17.519 --> 00:06:22.879
Um if you uh have some want some information on it, you can get in touch with us.

00:06:22.959 --> 00:06:26.079
It's a great uh check your policies.

00:06:26.160 --> 00:06:38.240
That's if you have a self-defense insurance with or protection with somebody else, uh check those policies and restrictions because uh you may not be as covered as you think.

00:06:38.800 --> 00:06:43.600
Especially if you're into security, first responder, law enforcement.

00:06:43.759 --> 00:06:54.480
Uh they've got a um they cover uh cover those people in those both in their uh on duty capacity or their potential to be called on duty.

00:06:54.560 --> 00:07:02.079
Um where other companies may not cover first responders, security guard, military, and stuff like that.

00:07:02.240 --> 00:07:06.319
But um yeah, just uh listen to us.

00:07:06.399 --> 00:07:13.839
We'll be popping out the sh in the uh first episode of 2024 the information on right to bear.

00:07:13.920 --> 00:07:21.040
Uh we'll have them on our website as well, both uh the podcast website and the business website.

00:07:21.360 --> 00:07:35.759
So um we will definitely like to have some information and some uh people participate with with that.

00:07:35.920 --> 00:07:41.199
Uh do you guys have any information that you want us to cover?

00:07:41.279 --> 00:07:55.439
Uh we kind of have our plan, but we are also open to both um training on our business side for the Blueberry Tactical as well as uh podcast topics and any guests.

00:07:55.680 --> 00:07:58.959
So if you have any guests, you can reach out to us.

00:07:59.040 --> 00:08:06.879
Um we've got an email directly that comes to us that's uh podcast at blueberry tactical.com.

00:08:07.199 --> 00:08:19.040
Uh that comes to our general uh email and just leave your comments, uh suggestions, um likes, dislikes.

00:08:19.199 --> 00:08:23.920
If there's something that you would like to see us change, hey, we're we're open to change.

00:08:24.079 --> 00:08:27.040
We're not we're not set in our ways, not yet.

00:08:27.519 --> 00:08:35.440
But uh we uh we would like to ask you for you know any topics or you know any training that you would like to see in the future.

00:08:35.840 --> 00:08:43.600
Um we still are growing, uh still providing training in through our three locations.

00:08:43.840 --> 00:09:04.000
Um our uh our podcast is actually I would say that it's international because we've got I think five people that are outside the North America continent that have listened and listen not every episode but most episodes.

00:09:04.240 --> 00:09:08.320
So hey, we're I guess we can say we're international now.

00:09:09.519 --> 00:09:11.759
But uh that that's pretty cool.

00:09:12.000 --> 00:09:12.639
That is.

00:09:12.799 --> 00:09:20.240
Uh I think the last I saw we were at 150 downloads, which um is is awesome.

00:09:20.399 --> 00:09:22.480
I appreciate each and every one of them.

00:09:22.639 --> 00:09:35.759
But uh as long as somebody gets some training or some information from our our topics and guests that we have, that is that that's the goal of what the podcast was designed set up to be.

00:09:35.919 --> 00:09:39.759
It wanted to be some major numbers.

00:09:39.919 --> 00:09:54.799
I want we've I wanted us to be able to go out and to give people information to let them think uh about their safety and their family's safety and how they can grow as a concealed carrier and home defender.

00:09:54.960 --> 00:10:02.399
So uh with that being said, uh you have anything else, David, that you want to mention or cover?

00:10:03.120 --> 00:10:04.879
I think we've covered a pretty good bit.

00:10:05.039 --> 00:10:09.679
Once again, I'd like to wish everybody a Merry Christmas, happy new year, and thank you.

00:10:09.919 --> 00:10:19.360
Thank you everybody for listening in and just making it a good several months of podcasting.

00:10:19.840 --> 00:10:20.399
All right.

00:10:20.559 --> 00:10:24.000
Well, on that note, we will close this podcast.

00:10:24.080 --> 00:10:29.360
And uh again, thank you everybody for listening and participating and uh sharing.

00:10:29.679 --> 00:10:39.440
And again, from the Arm Guardian podcast and Blueberry Tactical, we would like to thank and wish every one of you a Merry Christmas and a happy new year.

00:10:39.600 --> 00:10:40.879
Thank you, everybody.
