00:00:06.240 --> 00:00:12.080
Hi, welcome to the Armed Guardian Podcast, part of the Blueberry Tactical and Training Network.
00:00:12.320 --> 00:00:16.640
Today, David and I will be discussing carry options and holsters.
00:00:16.800 --> 00:00:20.719
So sit back and enjoy and listen to today's podcast.
00:00:23.519 --> 00:00:40.240
Today we're gonna discuss a few carry options for you, holsters and uh things that you might not have seen, might not know that's out there, and what the best position or best way to carry with these particular items that we've got.
00:00:40.560 --> 00:00:50.000
So sit down, relax, enjoy your beverage of choice, and hopefully uh you'll pick up some information.
00:00:50.880 --> 00:00:59.759
So we'll start off with um there are a lot of options out there for carrying your weapon.
00:00:59.920 --> 00:01:12.560
Uh, some of the things you might want to consider are do you want to carry inside the waistband, outside the waistband, uh, shoulder, um off-body.
00:01:12.799 --> 00:01:17.840
You got any concerns or any questions or any ideas on David?
00:01:18.000 --> 00:01:20.239
What some other things that we should discuss?
00:01:20.560 --> 00:01:23.280
Well, talking about ways to carry, I mean, everybody's different.
00:01:23.439 --> 00:01:31.760
You got to find what works best for you, and that's kind of what we're hoping to do in this episode here is showing some of the different options.
00:01:32.239 --> 00:01:38.560
I know for me personally, I like carrying kind of more kidney carry, smaller the back.
00:01:38.879 --> 00:01:52.879
Um as far as when it comes to inside the pants, if I'm carrying just on my you know, outside the waistband, I like carrying on my strong side, I'm like handed strong side um three o'clock.
00:01:54.959 --> 00:01:59.680
Or actually nine o'clock maybe, but yeah.
00:02:00.879 --> 00:02:03.840
So that's that's kind of how I like to carry, but everybody's different.
00:02:03.920 --> 00:02:12.639
Um, and sometimes I may I may uh carry differently due to clothing or or other things where I'm at, whatever.
00:02:12.719 --> 00:02:14.240
But that's my preferred.
00:02:14.319 --> 00:02:20.800
But uh hopefully this episode will give everybody a chance to see kind of what are what's some of the options out there.
00:02:20.879 --> 00:02:24.560
There's a lot more options out there, but it'll get people looking in the right direction, right?
00:02:24.960 --> 00:02:29.439
And kind of help you get to thinking about ways to carry.
00:02:29.520 --> 00:02:38.479
You know, you may already be familiar with some, you may have your your favorite picks, or you may be new at this and and still kind of trying to figure out what works best for you.
00:02:39.120 --> 00:02:42.960
So we'll start off with the belt, Mr.
00:02:43.120 --> 00:02:43.599
Brian.
00:02:43.919 --> 00:02:48.000
Yeah, um, wanna make sure you have a good sturdy belt.
00:02:48.159 --> 00:03:03.520
Um the typical belts that you find at Walmart and stuff in a pinch would do, but over time they're not gonna hold up to the weight of the pistol, uh they're not gonna last long.
00:03:03.680 --> 00:03:14.000
Uh, what I really recommend uh and what I use is a two-let two-ply double-stitched uh leather belt.
00:03:14.159 --> 00:03:28.719
And this particular belt that I have is from Bursacare, which we are uh uh authorized uh dealer with, and we recommend this as because it's a good, durable, solid belt.
00:03:28.879 --> 00:03:33.280
Uh, this particular belt here is one of my newer ones, it's about two years old.
00:03:33.360 --> 00:03:39.439
I've got one that's five years old that looks still almost brand new.
00:03:39.680 --> 00:03:49.759
So um just something you want to find, something that's gonna support the holster and the weight of the gun and not sag, bow out, or anything like that.
00:03:49.919 --> 00:03:56.240
They do make nylon holsters, I mean nylon belts or um other tactical belts.
00:03:56.479 --> 00:04:07.919
Um I actually did a podcast uh recently with a friend of our of mine that uh he actually makes uh everyday carry belts, uh EDC Belt Company.
00:04:08.000 --> 00:04:09.599
Uh throw him out there.
00:04:09.759 --> 00:04:12.080
Uh makes a great belt.
00:04:12.639 --> 00:04:20.160
He's um, and again, it's it's the nylon, it's not the leather, but uh each each is their own.
00:04:20.319 --> 00:04:23.519
Some people prefer the nylon, some like leather.
00:04:23.680 --> 00:04:35.439
So it again, there are a lot of options out there, but just find a good quality belt that uh is durable and no will handle the weight of the gear that you're carrying.
00:04:36.879 --> 00:04:42.560
Um, once you move from your belt, you want to look at um your weapon.
00:04:42.720 --> 00:04:46.720
You're you know, there's several different holsters that you can get for your weapon.
00:04:46.879 --> 00:04:55.519
Uh they range from real generic uh everyday holsters to ones that are a little bit more complex.
00:04:55.920 --> 00:04:58.079
You've got actually this one right here.
00:04:58.160 --> 00:05:00.079
Uh again, this is a Versa carry.
00:05:00.240 --> 00:05:08.560
It's one where the pistol slides in here, and then it's got a little magazine pouch that you can carry a spare mag all together.
00:05:08.720 --> 00:05:17.680
Uh, these here, it's uh outside the waistband, uh, goes through the belt, it's got a belt loop here, and then one on the back side of the magazine.
00:05:18.160 --> 00:05:37.519
And again, it's uh leather, so it's gonna be a little bit easier than uh kydex on marking and uh roughing up the finish of your pistol, especially if you have a custom uh Cerakote or gun skin or something, it's not gonna wear that out as much.
00:05:38.079 --> 00:05:43.920
Um, another option, and again a Versa carry, is this uh holster here.
00:05:44.000 --> 00:05:46.959
It's just the actual holster, it's uh tension.
00:05:47.120 --> 00:05:51.839
You can adjust the tension right here for several different weapons.
00:05:51.920 --> 00:05:58.879
Uh, you can actually change the screw placements here to hit your gun specifically.
00:05:59.199 --> 00:06:03.199
Uh, this one you can carry on inside the waistband or outside.
00:06:03.360 --> 00:06:16.000
This here is set up for inside the waistband uh with flips up on the front and the back, or you can remove them and you can use the belt loops for uh outside the waistband carry.
00:06:16.319 --> 00:06:31.759
So uh again, this is a dual purpose one, so it really works uh well if you're playing around and looking for something to kind of see what where you want to carry and how you want to carry.
00:06:32.079 --> 00:06:34.639
And and we have here a kydex holster.
00:06:34.720 --> 00:06:38.079
Um, a lot of people now are moving into like they like the kydex.
00:06:38.319 --> 00:06:43.519
Uh they're very durable, very strong.
00:06:43.680 --> 00:06:47.199
Um just looking at the difference between the kydex and the leather.
00:06:48.240 --> 00:06:51.120
Um, the kydex is gonna hold its form very good.
00:06:51.199 --> 00:06:56.639
It's whenever you use your firearm coming in and out of the holster.
00:06:56.800 --> 00:06:59.360
Um, it's gonna maintain its form good.
00:06:59.439 --> 00:07:04.720
It's easy to find to find, you know, it maintains the form well of the firearm.
00:07:05.040 --> 00:07:06.319
A lot of people like the kydex.
00:07:06.480 --> 00:07:13.519
I would say one of the cons to the kydex is that it does tend to scuff your firearm up.
00:07:13.680 --> 00:07:19.439
Um, I mean, if you if you have if it's your everyday carry gun, you're probably not worried about that, and that's great.
00:07:19.680 --> 00:07:29.920
Um, if you're using a heirloom, let's say uh gun you got passed down to you from your grandfather or father or something like that.
00:07:30.079 --> 00:07:32.720
Maybe it's a collect or a collector gun.
00:07:32.959 --> 00:07:39.199
Umdex is probably not gonna be the best option because you're probably not gonna want to scuff that gun up.
00:07:39.279 --> 00:07:39.519
Right.
00:07:39.680 --> 00:07:40.399
But I'll let Mr.
00:07:40.480 --> 00:07:42.480
Bryan explain a little bit more on the kydex.
00:07:42.639 --> 00:07:44.560
And here's a C and G holster.
00:07:44.879 --> 00:07:45.920
C and G holster.
00:07:46.079 --> 00:07:48.560
Uh where we're also an affiliate with them.
00:07:48.639 --> 00:07:50.319
Uh it's American made.
00:07:50.399 --> 00:08:02.240
Uh they actually have some custom molded, and then they also um have some what they call quick ships that are you know for your basic standard firearms without any attachments.
00:08:02.399 --> 00:08:12.560
This one is actually for a block 43x, and it's actually cut out for if you used a red dot uh site, it's cut out for that as well.
00:08:12.800 --> 00:08:33.519
That's something else, too, if you're looking for a holster, making sure that it's meets your what your gun is carrying, whether you've got uh one that's capable for red dot, like with these right here, these are just standard holsters, so it's not cut out for the red dot.
00:08:34.000 --> 00:08:36.879
So uh you just need to pay attention to that.
00:08:37.120 --> 00:08:48.399
Uh, they make the holsters for if you have a light attachment or laser attachment, they make those holsters, but a lot of times those are custom holsters.
00:08:48.559 --> 00:08:51.120
Um you have to get those specialty made.
00:08:51.279 --> 00:09:10.720
So um, yeah, the kydex is great for inside the waistband because it uh keeps the uh void open to where you can re-holster without digging into your waistband and uh causing injury or an accidental discharge.
00:09:10.960 --> 00:09:12.399
You gonna say something, David?
00:09:12.559 --> 00:09:17.919
Uh oh no, I was just gonna move on to the um other.
00:09:18.240 --> 00:09:21.840
We also have a hybrid holster, a codecin leather.
00:09:21.919 --> 00:09:22.720
Um I might let Mr.
00:09:22.799 --> 00:09:26.080
Brian explain explain that.
00:09:26.240 --> 00:09:30.799
Yeah, this one uh is outside the waistband and it's got a cant to it.
00:09:30.960 --> 00:09:35.360
Um that's something else too, depending on how you're carrying.
00:09:35.519 --> 00:09:54.639
A lot of times, if you're carrying on the your side, you want that forward cant where it's easy to draw the pistol instead of having to come high up, you're able to come forward a little bit and not have to uh worry about coming up so high underneath your armpit or anything for your carry.
00:09:54.799 --> 00:10:02.480
Uh, this would also even work for um your eight or four o'clock carry position just uh off your hip.
00:10:02.639 --> 00:10:05.679
Um I it's what I carry with this one sometimes.
00:10:05.759 --> 00:10:09.039
If I'm not carrying it at the three o'clock, I'm right-handed.
00:10:09.120 --> 00:10:13.919
I'll carry it, use it at the four o'clock position where it's just a little bit behind.
00:10:14.320 --> 00:10:21.360
Your body shape is also going to determine your carry and position and how you carry.
00:10:21.600 --> 00:10:24.799
Um, some people love appendix carry.
00:10:25.600 --> 00:10:32.240
Um it's not one of my favorite carry positions, but I understand why people like it.
00:10:32.559 --> 00:10:36.080
My particular body style, it makes it a little bit difficult.
00:10:36.159 --> 00:10:50.879
Uh, I could carry appendix, uh, would just probably have to get a wedge or something to add to my holster to keep it from flopping out uh forward and uh printing.
00:10:50.960 --> 00:10:52.399
Uh that's something else.
00:10:52.639 --> 00:11:03.759
When you're look, especially if you're doing inside the waistband conceal carry, uh, you don't want your gun to print or people to be able to see that you're carrying a pistol.
00:11:04.000 --> 00:11:12.320
Again, this one's a Versa carry, it's got a tension screw here where you can tighten the and loosen the tension as needed for your particular gun.
00:11:12.480 --> 00:11:20.639
Um again, this one's more block 43, but got the custom opening where it's not going to collapse on you.
00:11:20.879 --> 00:11:28.879
So uh great little holster, and this one even with a red dot, uh it's red dot accessible for the Glock 43.
00:11:29.440 --> 00:11:36.720
Um another inside the waistband is uh again another Versicary.
00:11:37.039 --> 00:11:43.039
This is a a custom mold, or not a custom, but it's a uh hybrid.
00:11:43.279 --> 00:12:00.720
You've got a padded back area on the holster, which is leather and foam, and then you've got the kydex outer shell, and then the steel belt clip that holds the gun or holds the holster in on the belt.
00:12:00.960 --> 00:12:05.039
But this one is uh a dual, like I said, it's kydex and leather.
00:12:05.200 --> 00:12:06.080
Uh great.
00:12:06.240 --> 00:12:12.799
Uh kydex helps keep that uh opening there where the gun will go in and out very easily.
00:12:12.960 --> 00:12:25.360
Uh, it's got a little clip whenever you put your gun in, you'll feel it snap in place and it holds it in place, and all you do is just light twist and pull up and it releases it.
00:12:25.679 --> 00:12:33.279
So um again, a Versicari, we carry these and um another good holster.
00:12:33.360 --> 00:12:35.840
Uh, I really like the Versicari products.
00:12:35.919 --> 00:12:38.159
Uh, I'm I'm a leather person.
00:12:38.480 --> 00:12:48.159
Um I'm getting more accustomed to some kydex products, but um, I've just always enjoyed the the feel and the smell of the leather.
00:12:48.240 --> 00:12:51.200
Uh I old old timer here.
00:12:52.399 --> 00:12:59.759
And then and then along with holsters, and and these are very similar, so uh, we're not gonna spend a lot of time on because the materials are similar.
00:13:00.080 --> 00:13:04.879
Spare mag copies, and you can get them in single, like this one here, or double.
00:13:04.960 --> 00:13:10.080
You can get them in leather or or the codex um or nylon.
00:13:10.159 --> 00:13:11.679
Uh, I prefer codex.
00:13:11.840 --> 00:13:21.360
This right here is uh it's some molded plastic molded plastic um by pit bull tactical, it's actually expands.
00:13:21.519 --> 00:13:24.480
So I'm using a double stack mag here.
00:13:24.720 --> 00:13:31.679
It slides right in to expand out, but it also when I pull it out, I can use it for single stack, like a 1911 right mag.
00:13:31.759 --> 00:13:35.440
So it's a multiple multiple mag as well, it's just a single carrier.
00:13:35.519 --> 00:13:38.799
So all I gotta do is just slide it in there and it snaps on my belt.
00:13:38.879 --> 00:13:42.000
I can use it outside the waistband or inside the waistband.
00:13:42.080 --> 00:13:42.399
Yep.
00:13:42.559 --> 00:13:52.399
This is my go-to mag pouch right here because whatever I'm carrying, um, it takes, you know, like I said, multiple mags or multiple types of mags.
00:13:53.039 --> 00:13:57.200
So whatever gun I'm carrying, I can just slide the mag in there, flip it on my belt, and I'm ready to go.
00:13:57.360 --> 00:13:57.759
Yep.
00:13:58.000 --> 00:14:03.279
And again, we we're a dealer, we have uh these in stock in our store.
00:14:03.440 --> 00:14:10.720
Um, we've got them in the desert tan, the uh military green, and black color.
00:14:10.879 --> 00:14:17.679
So if you're looking for one of those, uh feel free to go to our our website, blueberrytactical.com.
00:14:17.919 --> 00:14:23.679
Uh, we've got the link for Versacary where you can order directly through them through our link.
00:14:23.840 --> 00:14:28.799
Uh our end of company store, uh, we have these listed in there.
00:14:28.879 --> 00:14:38.240
Uh, you can order those and either arrange if you're local, pick up here, or we can ship uh for a small fee to ship it.
00:14:38.399 --> 00:14:40.480
But uh, we do have these in stock.
00:14:40.720 --> 00:14:47.279
So another uh holster concern, or another another holster is a paddle holster.
00:14:47.360 --> 00:14:48.879
Uh, this one's a kydex.
00:14:49.279 --> 00:15:04.080
Um you've got the where it will fit over the belt, you got these little bridges right here where it will keep the gun or the holster on the belt and not pull out whenever you're trying to draw the holster.
00:15:04.559 --> 00:15:10.000
There are some issues some people have with the uh trigger release.
00:15:10.080 --> 00:15:15.440
Um I mean the the release for the this particular holster, this level one holster.
00:15:15.600 --> 00:15:36.399
Some people don't like this little uh thing here uh because whenever you draw your pistol, your finger, you have to keep it on, you know, you can't let your finger drop down because as if you're pulling it and your finger drops down, your finger will end up right over the uh trigger, open trigger guard area.
00:15:36.720 --> 00:15:47.039
And if you're not aware paying uh attention to it, your finger could inadvertently go on to the trigger, which could lead to a negligent discharge.
00:15:47.200 --> 00:15:56.720
But if you have good uh trigger discipline, finger discipline, whenever you draw with this holster, it's gonna come right out on the slide.
00:15:56.879 --> 00:15:58.320
I personally like these.
00:15:58.559 --> 00:16:12.799
This is my uh only time I really wear these are for class or for range, uh, whenever because I don't want to mess up my leather gear, but uh this is a good durable holster for my training at the range.
00:16:13.279 --> 00:16:14.159
Got anything, David?
00:16:14.320 --> 00:16:15.279
Yes, Miss Brian.
00:16:15.360 --> 00:16:30.080
Um, as we're talking about holsters here, and I'd like to move before we get to off-body carry, talk about um you mentioned this is a level one holster, talk about some of the safety concerns, some of the safety features on some holsters.
00:16:30.480 --> 00:16:34.639
Um the safety of carrying in a proper holster, right?
00:16:34.879 --> 00:16:37.840
Even you know, using good good holsters.
00:16:38.000 --> 00:16:53.200
Uh you know, there are many holsters out there, and some are one size fits all, and some of them are good, some of them are um, I mean, and you know, they're all um all of them have their purpose, but some are better than others for certain purposes, right?
00:16:53.279 --> 00:16:54.960
I guess is what I'm trying to say.
00:16:55.200 --> 00:16:57.039
Um, you could mention the level one.
00:16:57.120 --> 00:16:59.519
What are some of the different levels of the holsters?
00:16:59.600 --> 00:17:05.200
And maybe, you know, in a level one, and I know these are multiple questions I would like to have to flesh out a little bit.
00:17:05.519 --> 00:17:16.480
Um, in a level one, you know, this one has the trigger, the trigger finger release for the firearm, which which I have several like that, and I and I like them.
00:17:16.559 --> 00:17:17.200
They're they're good.
00:17:17.279 --> 00:17:25.599
You just have, like you said, you have to be careful when drawing, not to as that finger presses there, not to let it press on into the trigger, right?
00:17:25.759 --> 00:17:28.880
To the trigger guard, um, to the trigger.
00:17:29.039 --> 00:17:32.079
Yeah, um, but also I know some make the thumb ones.
00:17:32.160 --> 00:17:38.240
I've seen some where you come underneath and there's a little thing underneath that allows you to pull right.
00:17:38.480 --> 00:17:40.720
Um, but but what is the different levels?
00:17:40.799 --> 00:17:42.640
And we can talk about this other stuff as we go.
00:17:42.960 --> 00:17:49.200
So, some of the different levels, you start out with uh level zero, which is basically uh uh tension.
00:17:49.359 --> 00:17:54.880
Uh that would be this right here, this uh with the screw, it's a tension screw.
00:17:54.960 --> 00:17:56.240
You tighten it down.
00:17:56.319 --> 00:18:05.599
Uh, and I actually can this when I carry my 43x and have it in there, I can actually turn it upside down and shake it.
00:18:05.839 --> 00:18:09.599
If I violently shook it, then yeah, the gun could come flying out.
00:18:09.680 --> 00:18:20.000
But if there's enough tension that it's not gonna fly out if I was to fall down or something, but it's not so tight in there that it hampers me if I needed to draw.
00:18:20.079 --> 00:18:22.720
It's I can still smoothly draw the weapon.
00:18:22.960 --> 00:18:26.480
Um, you've got like this one right here.
00:18:26.640 --> 00:18:31.359
This is a uh again a level zero uh tension.
00:18:31.519 --> 00:18:46.880
It uses the gun fits in there, and as you tighten your belt, it'll uh tighten down on the gun, and it's just the tension of the belt against your body tightens and secures the gun.
00:18:47.119 --> 00:19:11.920
Not if you're uh active, uh doing a lot of running or stuff, you may not want to you may want to opt for something that has a tension screw or either a level one, which as David's mentioned, you got your thumb brakes, you got uh the little slide lever here, and other options or other types of level one holsters.
00:19:12.000 --> 00:19:18.079
Uh it basically it just means you got to perform one release to get the weapon to draw.
00:19:18.240 --> 00:19:24.000
The typical law enforcement holster uh back when I was in is a level three.
00:19:24.079 --> 00:19:29.039
It took three different uh releases to get the gun out of the holster.
00:19:29.200 --> 00:19:32.559
Um, I think now they even have a level four holster, I believe.
00:19:32.720 --> 00:19:34.400
I I they they very well may.
00:19:34.480 --> 00:19:37.039
I know they're coming out with new stuff every day.
00:19:37.279 --> 00:19:46.480
I know for and I'll say this, I think for um everyday carry, I think I wouldn't want to carry anything more than a level one level one.
00:19:46.880 --> 00:19:50.799
Um and I don't mind the level zeros, it just depends on how I'm carrying.
00:19:50.960 --> 00:20:02.480
Uh uh if I'm carrying oh if I'm open carrying for some reason, then I like to have uh have a level one for retention purposes.
00:20:02.960 --> 00:20:07.359
Uh you know, but and and that's not all the time, but but a lot of times.
00:20:07.440 --> 00:20:14.720
If I'm carrying concealed, you know, a level level zero with with with attention may be okay, you know, if they're outside the pants or something like that.
00:20:15.039 --> 00:20:16.400
I mean it just depends.
00:20:16.480 --> 00:20:23.200
It it just depends, and it's something that I think you know you've got to find what works best for you, what's the most comfortable for you.
00:20:23.359 --> 00:20:27.839
I mean, none of this is uh one is uh one size fits all.
00:20:28.000 --> 00:20:37.759
Um you know, there's a lot of prudence, discretion, and and individual opinion, I guess, that that goes into how we carry.
00:20:37.839 --> 00:20:49.359
And and even for me, I I carry different ways at different times, you know, depending on clothing style I'm wearing, where I'm going, uh the weather, the climate.
00:20:49.680 --> 00:20:54.400
I mean, there's a lot of things to take into into account with this.
00:20:54.960 --> 00:20:58.559
Um once again, just make sure you're carrying it safely.
00:20:58.640 --> 00:21:00.720
And then I can't stress out enough.
00:21:00.799 --> 00:21:03.839
Um, if you carry, you know, and practice the way you're carrying.
00:21:03.920 --> 00:21:12.480
So if you're carrying the level one with the trigger, practice carrying that so you're not um start over.
00:21:13.519 --> 00:21:20.079
You know, as you're drawing, as you're coming out after you press the release, that finger's not slipping into the trigger well.
00:21:20.400 --> 00:21:23.200
Um, just make sure you practice with with the way you carry.
00:21:23.279 --> 00:21:33.119
And also so that way you can be smooth and proficient um drawing your drawing your weapon and you know, slow is smooth and smooth as fast.
00:21:33.200 --> 00:21:34.720
And you want to be as smooth as possible.
00:21:34.799 --> 00:22:13.599
That's what well, something that and I teach in my concealed carry classes, I make a point to tell people is whenever you are looking to find your your carry position, once you determine this is where I like to carry, this is where I'm gonna start carrying, practice, make sure your firearm is clear, uh, it's unloaded, there's nothing in the chamber, and you know, put your gun in the holster, and then just ten times every day, slowly reach for your gun, pull it out, present the gun on target, and then go back to the holster.
00:22:13.759 --> 00:22:21.039
What you're looking to try to do is to not look down at your holster, either coming out or or going back in.
00:22:21.200 --> 00:22:33.440
You want to keep your eyes focused on what you perceive as a threat because if you take your eyes off of that threat and they see it, they may be able to react and attack you before you realize they have moved.
00:22:33.759 --> 00:22:39.759
So start doing 10 times a day a practice draw, cut slowly coming out.
00:22:39.839 --> 00:22:44.799
Uh, each time you come out, work a little bit faster and re-holster faster.
00:22:44.880 --> 00:22:54.240
It'll build what we call that muscle memory that uh you build up to where you instinctively do something without even having to think about it.
00:22:54.319 --> 00:22:57.359
Your brain says, draw a weapon, you're not standing there.
00:22:57.519 --> 00:23:05.359
Okay, I need to pull or clear my garment, grab the pistol, and it it becomes second nature to you.
00:23:05.599 --> 00:23:14.559
So just uh again on that note, uh practice how you're gonna carry and practice uh drawing and re-holstering that that weapon.
00:23:16.160 --> 00:23:20.160
Now I think we can move on to off-body carry.
00:23:20.240 --> 00:23:20.480
Yeah.
00:23:20.720 --> 00:23:21.839
Um Mr.
00:23:22.000 --> 00:23:27.599
Brian, if you want to explain off-body carry uh and show some of the products that we have.
00:23:27.839 --> 00:23:29.119
Um Okay.
00:23:29.440 --> 00:23:40.480
Um yeah, this here is uh for ladies, uh, they make the standard purses, they make cross-draw purses or cross-body purses.
00:23:40.640 --> 00:23:48.319
Uh these are designed to where you can carry, you've got your pockets for your everyday stuff that you put in.
00:23:48.559 --> 00:23:52.720
But depending on your left or right-handed, this one's amphidextrious.
00:23:52.880 --> 00:23:55.039
Uh, you got access on both sides.
00:23:55.279 --> 00:24:07.759
But if you ever need to draw your pistol, you just pull the zipper down, reach in, and if you look inside, you'll see a holster in there.
00:24:08.000 --> 00:24:16.559
You your gun fits in that holster and it secures it where it's not flopping around in there and anything getting into that uh trigger area.
00:24:16.880 --> 00:24:26.160
So whenever you're carrying it, all you've got to do is reach in, pull it out, and present your your um weapon on your your thread.
00:24:26.319 --> 00:24:43.599
And then it also just discreetly keeps it in there where it's not in your main parts of your your purse where you're digging in for change keys, uh wallet or something, and inadvertently putting your finger on a trigger of a gun that's just playing around in there.
00:24:44.000 --> 00:24:54.319
Um really recommend finding a purse that or crossbody uh purse that uh you really like, uh different styles, colors.
00:24:54.480 --> 00:25:08.400
Uh just find what you like and make sure it just securely uh holsters your gun as well as uh you're able to get it and it works with your your lifestyle.
00:25:08.480 --> 00:25:19.279
Don't ever just put a gun inside the bag and just throw it in there because that could be a disaster if uh something got into the trigger area.
00:25:19.519 --> 00:25:25.039
So that's uh different styles, uh different websites.
00:25:25.119 --> 00:25:35.440
Uh I've I could list several here, but uh if you have any questions on uh purses for the off-body carry for the ladies, um let us know.
00:25:35.519 --> 00:25:43.039
I can recommend a few that uh I've seen that I like their quality and stuff, and hook you up with that.
00:25:43.279 --> 00:25:45.519
And other off-body carry options.
00:25:45.680 --> 00:25:50.000
Um you have your backpack, you have holsters in the backpack.
00:25:50.160 --> 00:25:55.680
Um you have banking pack holsters and we actually, yeah, we've got one right here.
00:26:00.480 --> 00:26:06.480
A lot of people back in my time in the 80s when I was in law enforcement.
00:26:06.640 --> 00:26:10.000
Uh, this was the the new niche.
00:26:10.160 --> 00:26:13.519
Uh people really like doing carrying these.
00:26:13.839 --> 00:26:22.160
Uh you can uh go jogging, not have to worry about uh putting uh outside or inside the waistband holster.
00:26:22.400 --> 00:26:27.680
Just put your gun in the holster in here, zip it up, and go what do whatever.
00:26:27.920 --> 00:26:34.079
You got air extra pockets and stuff or first aid kit, keys, wallet, uh whatever.
00:26:34.400 --> 00:26:54.559
This particular one, uh, you actually got a magazine uh holder right here, so to attach a holster over here to put your gun in and zip it up, and then you've got it accessible whenever you could wear it where it's in the front on the side, or you could spin it around in the back.
00:26:54.720 --> 00:27:38.400
I wouldn't spin it around in the back unless it's just gonna be for a short time because you don't want you're not able you don't have eyes in the back of your head, so you can't see somebody coming up, but it's a good alternative body uh carry for when you don't have a um a belt or you're wearing gym shorts or something, you can still be uh safely armed and it works real good for certain aspects, especially for the hot weather when you're wearing shorts and you don't want to carry a t-shirt, or you know, so it's a little bit harder to carry concealed whenever you're wearing light or not a lot of clothing.
00:27:38.480 --> 00:27:41.920
So it just makes a good off-body carry option.
